Rats and Mice
Rats and mice are the second most important disease vector after the mosquito.
In addition they have the need to gnaw objects in order to keep their teeth sharp and under control in length, therefore causing house fires after gnawing electrical wiring and appliances.
It is rarely possible to effectively proof out rodents, and therefore we apply rodenticide baits to control infestation.
Rodenticides generally have a higher mammalian toxicity and therefore it is often necessary to use tamper proof stations, which minimise the risk of children and pets contacting the rodenticide.
Bait placement is a major consideration in order to make the bait available to the pest and to minimise the risk of unwanted contact.
